This painting, entitled "Ole Bill" got its start in 2010 when Cheryl and I visited England, Wales and Ireland. On a Saturday as we left our B&B of 11 days to drive towards Oxford, we drove through Stratford -upon-Avon so Cheryl could see Shakespeare's birth place etc. Anne Hathaway's cottage had been added to with a larger farm yard and additional medieval buildings. This horse was one of two that came in from the field to the stables to seek a 'rub' or a goody. I thought it would be a good subject
